Note | The deep-water form of vercoi is comparatively rare to the far more often encountered variety from shallower water. The principal differences separating it from examples from shallower water are smaller size, and a far more solid shell, with greater weight to size ratio. Blue and yellowish cream dorsal ground, heavily mottled with dark tan maculae. Spectacular ultra-dark chestnut marginal maculae. For the advanced Zoila specialist. Size: 73 mm (length).
