| Note | (GEM-) Fantastic deep orange specimen with perfect body and almost perfect lip, very minor irregularities only. Collected in 1986, bought from a famous Italian dealer who lived many years in the Philippines. Nothing to see with the Aurantia form (usually with light brown color) or subfossil specimens (pale yellow color). This specimen is live collected, very glossy and with a very vivid orange color. The tents are very well defined and large. Real specimen is better than the image. A spectacular and very rare Conus form. From my personal collection. |
