| Note | A very solid, heavy (74g) shell for the size. Expansive dorsal blotch and inverse dorsal line. Has an unusual rounded keel towards the posterior end. Perfect gem shell, I can't see any faults at all. Trawled, 180-220m, offshore of the Point Hicks area, eastern Victoria. These shells are the last of my high quality stock. They were selected from amongst hundreds fished in 2017, from a different batch than those sold in the recent auctions. |
