Locality | Muiron Is, Exmouth, N.W. Aust. |
Note | Available here on this auction is a wonderful specimen of eludens. Eludens is considered one of the nicest Zoila species in colour, if not the best. This specimen is no exception, an appealing shell having very contrasting margins. The labral margin has little spotting, but with unique bands of orange/gold running down the margin through the beautiful blue margin frosting. The columellar margin is more typical but spectacular with its high blue frosting and its black tiger spotting. In addition, it exhibits a beautiful burnt orange and dusty black base. Graded GEM, a specimen I can not fault. Diver collected in sows ear sponge, Muiron Is, Exmouth Gulf, N.W. Australia, March 2018. |
