| Note | Another STRIKING specimen, this time of a viridus f. guamensis. It exhibits an absolutely amazing dorsum, with a lovely sharply defined mantle line and stunning dorsal longitudinal lines from canal to canal. It also exhibits a very heavy porcelain cream base with a distinct basal blotch. Graded GEM with no distinguishable faults. Diver collected Guam, circa 1970's. Provenance of the G.L. Buck Collection and my own personal collection. ALL REFECTIONS ARE FROM THE CAMERA LIGHTING. |
