| Note | Another beautiful mappa specimen, this time a viridus f. eluceta. This is a wonderful specimen, my favourite, exhibiting a lovely soft pink hue over the canals and a beautiful white porcelain base with strong margin callusing highlighted with black and brown spotting.. A very attractive specimen with a glassy dorsum and a unique dark brown labral wavy mantle line. IMAGES SAY IT ALL. A specimen impossible to fault, graded GEM. Diver collected at night at 8M on a coral head, Kwajalein Atoll, Marshall Islands. Provenance of my own personal collection. ALL REFECTIONS ARE FROM THE CAMERA LIGHTING. |
