Particularly broad form. Invariably with numerous lines and issues upon account of its ultra-fine shell and rough habitat, but exceptional overall quality for such advanced size and age. Outer apertural lip smoothed. Magnificent vivid pink apertural interior. Now obtainable only from choice old collections. Size: 88.6 mm (length). Grading: F+++; w/o. Data: Thorny Passage, Port Lincoln, Eyre Peninsula, South Australia, Australia; upon limestone reef substrate, under slab, amongst coarse sand/gravel; 28 m; dived; 1995. |
