On offer here is a nice specimen of the very elegant form of Notocypraea comptonii from Esperance area. This specimen is larger than average for the area at over 25mm. Unforunately my pathetic photography skills fail to capture its beauty with my magnified images doing it no favours. Note:- all white reflections are light reflections not defects. A very shiny high quality specimen with uniform straw brown colour with sparse spotting low down on the labral side. Graded F+++/ Gem-. Collected at night in 11m of water off Esperance.
