| Note | F++/G w/o Very rare, only two specimens obtained in twenty five years. It has characteristics of Epitonium jolyi and Epitonium commutatum. The number of ribs and thickness is characteristic of jolyi, the size of the specimen also, as well as the uniform white color. The ridge in the last whorl is typical of commutatum, but in this specimen the ridge is much weaker than in commutatum. We really don't know what it is. Murcia Province. |
