The Conus pegrandis was once one of the great rarities among the Conus shells and highly sought after. Growth folds and broken lips are the rule with pergrandis.
In the past, there were still many boats fishing for deep-sea mussels, but today there is no longer any supply. This specimen has a fantastic pattern of chocolate-brown colours on pure white.
