| Note | This species is frustratingly rare on Christmas Island and few live specimens have been collected. This is a stunningly beautiful color variation, typical of the rare Christmas Island form. Crabbed specimen in great condition despite a break on posterior lip, and another in the anterior syphon. Solid shell and presents beautifully. It would make a perfect pair with the other offered in this auction. Collected in 1982 in 20 meters off Rhoda Beaches Christmas Island. |
