| Note | Distinctive shades of faded brick red/pastel rose and pink highlight the color hues displayed by this moderately heavy, large and pretty cone. Protoconch, spire, and body whorl are remarkably intact. A superb specimen with bright "pretty in pink" color, an ultra special pattern with remarkable spiral ridges and desirable axial blotching pattern. Taken by compressor diver under coral rubble on sand at 18-25 meters off Bohol, Philippines in 2016. The shell displays a chip on the anterior lip with a perfect protoconch and flawless body whorl. Grade: F+++. |
