| Note | Eloquently patterned specimen displaying mellow blue/grayish primary hues and a subdued brown/orange dorsal line. Thick, rich nacre, perfect extremities, remarkable distribution of dorsal spotting and inflated form are admirable features for this large sought after species. The most attractive feature of the specimen are the intense distribution of orange/pink spots on the lateral walls and margins, making it an outstanding specimen. Diver collected on night dive at 25 meters on large coral reef off Magawish Island, Hurghada, Egypt. There is present a mild/thin (like a hair) transverse stress line across the mid-dorsum Grade: F+++/GEM. |
