Note | Wonderful golden color variety. Complete with china-white tented banding revolving on a golden main body whorl. The overall impact visually of the specimen is memorable. The combination of form, balance of color is captivating. The shell was harvested by trawler at 100-120 meters offshore from the Racha Islands, Phuket, Thailand in 2010. The specimen demonstrates an almost perfect apex and clean spire with palpable rough spots on the posterior and anterior natural lip. There is also a growth fold on the dorsum toward the terminal lip and a growth fold disruption on the ventral body whorl. Grade: F++. |
