| Note | This is a superb, moderately sized example of the species. The shell displays remarkable deep brown patterning wrapped over a egg-shell white primary hue, a perfect protoconch, spire and lip. The cone has excellent weight for it's size, demonstrates high gloss, a broader shoulder and bright white aperture. Captured by tangle net at 120-150 meters off Tinina Bulat Island, Mindanao, Philippines in 2015. There is a growth disruption line (not fold) evident along the posterior ventral body whorl near the aperture. Grade: F+++/GEM minus. |
