| Note | Another truly beautiful and uniquely RARE specimen, this time of ketyana hypermarginata. Rare because of its so wonderfully, extreme BLACK base AND GEM dorsum, well beyond the average specimen. In addition it exhibits amazing base edge crenulation's highlighted in rich brown and gold stripes. An extremely heavy specimen for its size, a wonderful low dorsal profile and an amazing convex base lifting the shells base edge off the table. The dorsum exhibits a very clean cream colouration on the labral dorsum and some pepper spotting on the columellar dorsum. Graded GEM, can not fault. Truly a specimen that presents wonderfully well and cannot be dismissed as normal, as it is far from a normal specimen. Understandably I have used the extra images that shellauction offer to convey the features as best as I can and of course with these extra images comes the MINIMUM STARTING PRICE OF E1000, an extremely low starting price for this specimen. Really a beautiful specimen. A TRULY impressive specimen. Diver collected on geodia lump in 42M, off Bernier Island, Carnarvon, N.W. Australia.
