Note | Nice, colorful, heavy, fully mature shell with white base and other characteristics of Z. therisites contraria. Very nicely colored shell - the most rare coloration out of Z.thersites contraria group. Shell is faded over the years already. No more color loss - very big concern for Zoila collectors. Well developed and super dotted callus. Perfect terminals. There are some very mild growth lines on the back of shell, otherwise Gem. F+++/Gem- Collected by Russian Research Vessel at depth 120 meters in 1978 on Umbilia armeniaca ground in Great Australian Bight, SA. |
