Some natural grow marks between the pattern not really detracting the beauty. Conus purpurascens is so variable that some colorations and patterns can even confuse with other cone species. F+++. The most poisons Conus in Mexico. Found buried between stones with brown algae and mud. Abaout 1-3m deep. Los Angeles Locos, Jalisco, Mexico. January 2024.
