NoteEPITONIIDAE - Epitonium hexagonum (Sowerby, 1844) RARE SPECIES in Mexico. Live collected under the sand at 10m deep by accident looking for Bivalves. I was so lucky to get this at this deep by snorkeling because of the size of this tiny specie. With the best sculpture and exceptional conditions. A real Masterpiece for this rare species to get and find. Fully adult with thick lip , amazing scales all around with the best intact apex WOOOW!! Absent for sure in many collections and so hard to find. So hard to get in any conditions here I present you the real Gem. Found buried in sand about 10m deep. La Vena, Los Angeles, Bahia de Tenacatita, Jalisco, Mexico. March 2024. Value for this rare species and seldom offered beauty in top conditions: 26-33 euro. Good luck!!
