| Note | EXCEPTIONAL ROSTRATION.....GERONTIC w/- CHUNKY TEETH.......I don't mind admitting that images just don't do enough justice!! The elegant curvature, trending spectacularly away from the perpendicular, to pinched ends. The aesthetically pleasing pattern & colour scheme. The large size. The gerontic nature, so heavy, so bulbous, so mature, and so much nicer in-the-hand. A rostrated tigris oozing charm. And a rare addition to any collection. A tiny undergloss imperfection but I'm being picky with a grade of F+++/Gem. Provenance: from my own collection. By local diver; 20m; Raas Island, East Java, Indonesia. |
