| Note | This recently discovered /described species is know only by a handful of specimens. It was found in Deep water, believed to be around 300 metres in northern Western Australia / Northern Territory during deep water trawling operations. I have only personally seen two specimens. This is one of them . I have never seen one offered for sale. This one is dead taken . Typical size . Reasonable condition but obviously dead taken. The photos form part of this description . Protoconch complete. Some minor chatting on the lip. Shell is complete no holes or major growth folds just lacks the gloss and super smooth finish of a fresh live one. I don’t think a live one has been taken. |
