| Note | A moderately-sized edition of a well-known Australian classic volute. Intense color of the spire, perfect pattern and banding on the body whorl with perfect columellar plaits. Collected by diver at 8-10 meters on sandy bottom near Broome, Western Australia. The shell exhibits minor roughness on the anterior notch and posterior lip approaching the body whorl/shoulder junction. Grade: F+++/GEM. NOTE: Shipments for current auction will commence July 8th. |
