Note | Superb inflated and pyriform beauty from southwest Australia. The shell has a beautiful collection of sparsely distributed/distinct and large lacunae painted on a reddish/brown dorsal primary coat. The specimen features thick porcelain-like calloused margins, moderate rostration and perfect extremities. Hyper-glossy with wonderful form and symmetry. Harvested at 11-12 meters while feeding on a red sponge by a lone Scuba diver off Rottnest Island, Western Australia in 2019. Grade: GEM. |
