| Note | Champion elongate mappa specimen with a sharp, crisp and wonderfully definitive dorsal pattern with a lovely dorsal line and perfect extremities. Flawless siphons and teeth are complemented by the royal/tiger orange aperture. Beautiful example of this particular subspecies of mappa, a real gemer of a shell.. NOTE: Specimen lights up like a Roman Candle under fluorescent light. Specimen collected by local divers under a dead coral slab next to a reef at 8-10 meters off Mitsio Island, Madagascar in 2016. Grade: GEM. |
