Classic large example of this desirable Australian Zoila subspecies. Unusual mix of color and nacre gloss showing mild rostration. Missing the usually ever-present classic dorsum window, but does interestingly display a unique collage of blotching and maculae magnified by a high nacre glow. Marvelous elongate form with moderate flanging of the margins and superior coloration of base and lateral walls. Scuba diver collected on sponge off Albany, Western Australia at 40-45 meters in 2020. The shell features some mini-subnacre delaminations and blemishes on the dorsum and lateral wall. Grade: F+++/GEM.
