| Note | Super large, inflated and hyper-calloused member of this striking species. Brilliant color and reticulated pattern. Heavy shell, with thick calloused margins and beautiful dark spotting extending over the margins and peripheral base. A solid shell, like a little tank. The shell has perfect extremities and dorsum with an outstanding nacre and radiance. There exists a subnacre a minor growth fold on the columellar lateral wall. Captured off East Shore, Oahu, Hawaii on a night dive by Scuba diver at 10-12 meters on the wall handing out inside a lava cave in 12/2020. Grade: F+++/GEM minus. |
