Note | 5 HEXACTS SHOWING THE COLOR PALETTE OF THE SPECIES. A magnificent set of this very attractive scallop, which looks like a small nodosus, full of charm. I am offering here a set that includes the rare ORANGE form, the uncommon FULL RED and FULL BLUE, almost solid brown and patterned. This shell is found all along the south coast of Australia: from the south of Western Australia in the east to the Victoria and Tasmania region in the west. It is a littoral and sublittoral species, commonly found on sandy bottoms, but not often seen in wild colors.
Chocolate = 38.3 mm, Purple = 50.9 mm, Red = 39.8 mm, Orange = 37.8 mm, Patterned = 37.3 mm.
