| Note | CHITONIDAE - Ischnochiton muscarius (Reeve, 1847). This is one of my favorite species, they really are all different pattern like our fingerprint. There are random lines in the form of half circles on each valve making a unique effect combined with the brown and cream green colors with the patterns as texture. Really special superb masterpiece. Found attached to very smooth rocks with green and brown algae at extremely low tide. Under Mirador Don Lupe, Punta Melaque , Melaque, , Jalisco, Mexico. April 2023.
