Umbilia eximia
107.56 mm Australia 500,00 € |
|
Item | # 0003457102 |
Family | Cypraeidae |
Name | Umbilia eximia , (G. B. Sowerby I, 1845) |
Size | 107.56 mm |
Locality | Australia, Miocene |
Note | MONSTER, ROSTRATE & VERY CALLOUS!!! WOW! This ancient specimen is a rare rostrate shell so that it has a pair of beautiful and long siphons (especially the posterior one) even longer than average level. With the influence of rostrate, its callous appearance looks strong as muscles. The dorsum is glossy which indicates its nice quality. Only some small crevices on the side are normal for the fossil shells. The rare monster size of 107.56 mm is one of the most outstanding points of this shell. Highly recommended! Don't miss this chance! Victoria, Australia. Middle Miocene (Balcombian, 15.5 MYA) |
