| Note | This Symbolicum measures 258mm in size making it the World Record Campinile size recorded.
It’s probably a 70 plus year old shell and shows it age. It has growth marks and cracks but was still alive and well living in 20 meters of water off the limestone reefs of Cape Leeuwin lighthouse. It wasn't easy to get when seen and was tucked in a deep cave. These shells live for a long time but rare be to be found this large. The other Campinile on offer is considered a large shell, making this an absolute collectible item. |
