Note | Hard to find specimen in acceptable condition with impressive mahogany/brown banding with beautiful spiraling/axial dashing. The specimen exhibits an excellent natural lip, perfect protoconch and a remarkably glossy body whorl. Collected by local fisherman on sand off Western Sahara/Morocco, at 8-12 meters in 2/2016. Hard to find select specimens, as the fisherman typically break/destroy the shells after being captured in the fishing nets. The specimen has a mid-dorsal growth fold growth as seen in images. Grade: F+++. |
