| Note | Strongly spotted/mottled dorsal pattern with thick calloused margins and perfect siphons make this large shell a collectors piece. Hyper-glossy, heavy weight/size ratio, amazing glazed porcelain-like lateral walls and margins. This Atlantic Ocean beauty has a perfect base and aperture. Taken by free diver in shallow water (1-2 meters) off Pointe des Almadies, Dakar, Senegal, West Africa in 2023. The Trona displays a few subnacre blemishes on the labral lateral wall and faint growth lines. Grade: F+++/GEM.. |
