Now obtainable only from choice old collections, and very seldom of this size and quality. Deep ochre-caramel, with spectacular pattern, formed with regularity and clarity. Retention of delicate pink protoconch. A skinneri for the Conidae connoisseur. Data: Off Sanur, Denpasar, Bali, West Nusa Tenggara Province, Indonesia; upon sand substrate; 9 m; dived; 1986.
