| Note | The JES Collection contained several outstanding examples of this ‘classic’ Coral Sea species, but we have now arrived at the LAST TWO exceptional specimens – the current example, and the one to be offered in the November auction. This species will never be freshly collected again, and is now obtainable only when released from choice old collections. Truly outstanding examples have always been rare, and will remain so in perpetuity. Rich colour. Superb pattern formed with regularity and clarity, and of the highest aesthetic merit. The penultimate opportunity I can provide for a connoisseur collector to acquire an outstanding, large specimen of a species certainly set to rise in desirability and value over ensuing years.
