NoteThis spectacular specimen, the LAST ‘insolatia’ of the JES Collection, exhibits the most beautiful and perfectly formed pattern I have ever encountered in this variety. Wonderful ‘fat’, highly symmetrical shape. Hypermature, with incredible weight to size ratio. Rare quality. An exquisite example for the dedicated collector of mus variants. Data: Off Punta Espada, Uribia, La Guajira, Colombia; upon sand/mud substrate; 80-100 m; trawled; 1998. Size: 45.9 mm. Grading: Gem. Provenance: JES Collection; London / Melbourne.
