NoteTimor sea, A nice big example of this lovely rare species that inhabits deep water around 350m of the north of Australia . Live taken at the time a few years ago but no operculum was present . Very good condition , some tiny black sediment still attached . Lip is intact . Rarely offered one of the better I have seen .
