This species is suspected to be diaurora laeve ,but it is also possible that it is a new species or subspecies. The individuals of this species are generally smaller than those of species diaurora laeve , with a flatter dorsal margin and several ring-shaped ridges on the top of the shell. The shell is a bright gold color, covered with black lightning stripes, and has little corrosion. The inner wall of the shell is light yellow in pearl. It is distributed in a very narrow area of a tributary in the upper reaches of the Zishui River in Guilin, Guangxi, China. Collected in September 2024.
