NoteWe recently collected this different oblita in 78 metres of water west of the Muiron Islands off Exmouth Gulf. The shell has a deep dark burgundy colour with pale shoulder trim. It was collected at night crawling on sand in a sponge garden. It was a real challenge to collect as the water visibility was less than one meter due to a exceptionally large ground swell. Graded Fine++ as it has a growth break (indicated by the green arrow in the photos) on it's labial side and a very small chip in it's siphon tail. It has a heavy intact mature lip.
