| Note | SELDOM SEEN Conus brunneus SPOTTED WOOOOW!! Large piece. In the past this kind of variety it was called as a Conus andrangae something between Conus brunneus and Conus bartschi. With brown color and shoulder shape like C. brunneus but with large extended white dots and micro banding like this one offered here. It was even confuse for me to identify both because I have found almost white Conus brunneus in the past and not C. bartschi. Here the real Conus brunneus with seldom seen really big White banding spot with multiple micro brownish bands between the white. Some scars between almost lost and really little erosion in near apex. F+++- F++! Really beautiful for the species!!! For serious collectors and Conus lovers. Found buried in sand-mud between stones about 5m deep. Cuastecomates, Jalisco, Mexico. May 2025. Value for this special and unique large white spots: 25-30 euro. Good luck and happy shelling.
