The majority of the known examples are badly damaged during life, or the trawling process. Enormous domed protoconch intact. Not freshly available since the 1980s, and with the locality now lying within the Swain Reefs National Park, no fresh specimens will be available in future. A rare opportunity for an advanced Turridae specialist. Data: Swain Reefs, Queensland, Australia; upon sand substrate; 40-60 m; dredged; 1986. Size: 30 mm. Grading: Gem.
