This species is widely distributed in the mountainous areas of southern China. However, depending on the region, the individual species will have different shell types. If there is a strict classification of species, it may diverge into new species or subspecies. For collectors, it is interesting to compare the morphology of species or subspecies of the same genus in different regions. The specimen was collected in May 2024 in Nanning, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, China.
