| Note | An outstanding GIANT specimen, collected half a century ago, during the ‘old days’ of Panamic availability. Rich, fully stable colour. Well-formed dorsal and marginal maculae. Spectacular ventrum, with large reddish pink central region upon the columella, and chestnut dentition. PERFECT delicate flanges to anterior terminal. Very difficult to obtain this size and quality now, coming only from choice old collections. The specimen was formerly in the renowned Phillip W. Clover collection of California, and the original Clover label accompanies the specimen. Data: Off Playa Río Mar, Panama; upon reef substrate, under slab at extreme low tide; 1975. Size: 97.3 mm.
