| Note | This outstanding specimen, collected over forty years ago, during the ‘old days’ of Hawai’ian availability, exhibits rich, now fully stable colour, in conjunction with an exceptional pattern of ultra-large maculae, and a distinct, perfectly formed yellow-gold mantle line. Exceptional quality for this coral reef-dwelling subspecies. Impeccably curated across the decades, with thick, resplendent gloss, and the appearance of having been collected this year. Markedly ovate form. Hypermature, with extreme marginal and ventral callosity, creating great weight and solidity. Now much coveted, and obtainable only from choice old collections.
