Note
In September 2024 we found this crabbed Amoria diamantina. It was found crawling on silty sand among sessile growth in 195 metres of water west of Leeman.
This specimen is good size for the species and shows the classic two radial dashes bands that typify the species. The shell is free from any notable growth defect but has a broken lip and window to the base.
We don't collect many specimens of this volute !!!
