| Note | A magnificent ultra-large specimen of exceptional quality – PERFECTION – exhibiting exceedingly rich colour, in conjunction with a rare pattern design, in which the typical fine, dark spiral bands are virtually absent. Extremely slender and elongate, with markedly upturned siphonal canal, creating a decidedly elegant form. The ONLY specimen of this pattern design I have ever encountered. Definitely for the advanced Costellariidae specialist interested in rare pattern variants. Data: Off Nocnocan, Talibon, Bohol, Philippines; upon sand/rubble substrate; 10-20 m; dived; 2014.
