| Note | An EXCEPTIONAL, very large specimen of this RARE and seldom offered species, devoid of the typical heavy growth disruptions which detract from the majority of examples. The colour combination of the peristome and columella – the rich lilac of the former, with the dark caramel of the latter – is of particular beauty. Now very difficult to obtain at this level of quality. Data: Salango, Puerto López, Manabi, Republic of Ecuador; in coastal forest, upon low tree/bush branch/trunk; November 1995. Size: 64.2 mm.
