NoteA very interesting species discovered in 2006, characterized by a sunken protoconch and three rows of periostracal hairs up to 1 mm long along the periphery. This specimen preserves much of the periostracum and a few remaining hairs. The shell is extremely fragile and therefore very difficult to find in good condition. Collected among leaf litter in a humid forest at an elevation of 2,450 meters above sea level in January 2025. A great opportunity!
