| Note | A superb specimen, collected over half a century ago, of a RARE form, with important provenance. Beautiful colours: lemon, yellow, olive, and ochre, with exquisite rich pink and white columella, and pink apex. Not freshly collected for decades, and now obtainable only from choice old collections. The specimen was formerly in the famous Cecelia Abbott land snail collection of the US, (wife of the renowned conchologist R. Tucker Abbott), and the original 1963 Abbott label accompanies the specimen. One of the most beautiful of all fasciatus forms. Data: Brickell Hammock, Miami, Miami-Dade County, Florida, USA; upon tree branch, in forest; 1963. Size: 46.6 mm. Grading: Fine++.
