Seldom offered at such large size. For the Volutidae specialist whose collection yet lacks this impressive deep-water subspecies. Data: Off Langab, Balut, Sarangani Islands, Davao del Sur, Mindanao, Philippines; upon sand/mud substrate; 100-200 m; tangle netted; 2004. Size: c.187 mm. Grading: Gem.
