Nice shell with pinky dorsum decorated with a few fine tan pepper spots. ROV collected in May 2024 from a geodia sponge in 76 metres of water west of Dorrie Island off Shark Bay. Heavy flared shell with nice tiger striped base.
The shell has soft growth folds and a healed dorsal indentation. Nacre stress lines can be seen under magnification to the selvage. These are something we see in 80-90% of the ketyana we collect. It has perfect siphons and displays nicely. Fine++/Fine+++.
